We were lucky to book the only private room in the restaurant, which I heard is quite hard to get. It’s a cozy space with a round table, perfect for more private conversations or hosting guests in a quieter setting. If you’re planning to go, I’d definitely recommend booking this room in advance.\n\nNow onto the food – I have to be honest, the dishes didn’t really match my personal taste. Ashima specializes in mushroom hotpot with a health-conscious, “clean eating” concept. It’s clearly a place that many people love (the restaurant was full when we went), so I think it just wasn’t the right fit for me, rather than the food being bad. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was nice – it just didn’t hit the spot for my palate.\n\nWe also ordered a bottle of sake, and I really liked that they offer to serve it warm – it made the meal feel a bit more special. That said, the overall bill came out to just over 5 million VND, which felt quite steep, especially since only 3–4 of us were eating seriously. So yes, I would say it’s on the pricier side.\n\nWhat I did appreciate was the attentive service. The staff were polite, friendly, and quite helpful throughout the meal. The interior design is elegant and relaxing – definitely suitable if you’re looking for a peaceful dining environment away from the usual hustle.\n\nOverall rating: 7/10.
