We decided to stay in and try the restaurant on the Residence Tower side of the Marriott Saigon, and I’m so glad we did. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip!\nThe Highlights:\n* The Service: Our waitress was exceptional. She had impressive knowledge of their wine list & menu and recommended a fantastic glass that paired perfectly with the meal.\n* The Bread: They start you off with warm bread served with a delicious pesto. It was so flavorful on its own that we didn’t even touch the oil and vinegar.\n* The Appetizers: The shrimp with arancini was excellent, and the salad was incredibly fresh.\n* The Standout: The Cioppino (seafood soup) was easily my favorite. Interestingly, the flavor profile reminded us so much of a New Orleans gumbo. As former NOLA residents, it was a wonderful, unexpected trip down memory lane!\nA Small Note:\nThe entrees were very tasty.\n\nOverall:\nWe enjoyed everything from beginning to end. We actually wanted to go back for a second visit to try more of the menu, but our stay wasn't long enough.
