Chivago는 An Khánh의 Đường Số 2에 위치한 넓고 탁 트인 공간을 사용한다. 높은 천장과 충분한 좌석 덕분에 주말에도 좀처럼 답답함을 느끼기 어렵다. 한국인 매니저가 직접 테이블 사이를 돌며 주방의 수준을 일정하게 유지하는 모습은 리뷰어들 사이에서도 눈에 띄는데, 이런 밀착 관리 방식은 사이공 외식 씬에서 보기 드문 경우다.
프라이드치킨은 한 입 베어 물면 소리가 날 정도로 바삭한 껍질과 함께 제공된다. 오렌지 소스 순살 반 마리는 부가세 전 180,000 VND, 포함 시 약 194,000 VND로, 양과 튀김 품질에 비해 합리적인 가격이다. 리뷰어들은 한결같이 이곳 치킨을 사이공에서 만나본 것 중 가장 바삭하다고 꼽으며, 속살의 촉촉함도 유지된다. 갈비와 칠리 변형 메뉴도 주문할 만하고, 치즈 떡볶이는 치킨 외에 다양한 메뉴를 원하는 그룹 테이블에 잘 어울린다. 패션프루트 맛 맥주는 단골 주문 메뉴로, 요리의 진한 풍미와 깔끔하게 어우러진다.
주방은 주 7일 새벽 1시까지 운영되며, 길거리 음식 대신 제대로 된 식사 자리를 원할 때 Thao Dien에서 가장 믿음직한 심야 선택지 중 하나다. K-pop 음악이 흘러나오며 볼륨이 꽤 높아질 수 있어, 긴 대화를 나눌 계획이라면 미리 알아두는 것이 좋다. 김치찌개는 칼칼한 맛보다 달달한 편이라는 엇갈린 평도 있지만, 재방문을 이끄는 핵심은 역시 프라이드치킨 메뉴다.
두 명이 요리 두 가지와 음료를 주문하면 보통 500,000 VND 내외로, District 1의 비슷한 한식 콘셉트 대비 가격이 훨씬 낮으면서도 방문마다 일정한 품질을 유지한다.

I really like Chivago since a long time ago and been to their D1 location many times. I was surprised that this place was empty on a Friday night. The space is decent with high ceilings . The Korean manager even came and served our table. I really hope this place is more popular. I’m satisfied with my experience and will return more often. P/s: the chicken marinade got a bit saltier after it cooled down, maybe management can look into it.
They have mastered the crunchiness of fried chicken skin. This place's signature dish is the crunchiest fried chicken dish I have ever ate. As of the time of reviewing (Jan 2026), the portion is big, the price is affordable (2 dishes, 2 drinks for 2 ppl costs around 500k), the restaurant is clean and spacious and the service is ok. Last but not least, their dishes are delicious for "nhậu" and as such, should be consumed with their delicious passion fruit infused beer.
My go-to place. Highly recommend the special crispy Chivago fried chicken and cheese tteokbokki. Everything is so good 🤤
I'm hesitant to try new restaurants in Saigon as I find most are disappointing, but Chivago was way better than I expected, maybe because the Korean manager/owner is there making sure the level of quality is maintained. The chicken came out crispy on the outside and tender and juicy inside, satisfyingly coming apart with just the side of the fork. The restaurant is spacious, comfortable, with clean air and a moderate noise level, all of which can be extremely rare in Vietnam. Excellent job guys! Will definitely be back.
Chivago is a great spot for any group size, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or a big group, it works perfectly. The food is consistently delicious, and the ambiance is both stylish and comfortable. Plus, everything is reasonably priced, making it an awesome go-to for affordable yet satisfying meals. Highly recommended!
