Cocotte SILA Urban Living - Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Had a few meals here during my stay and all were beautiful. A great menu range and a good price point. Lots of great wines. Staff very good. Will definitely come back.

We happened to come across this restaurant while passing by. It is a very beautiful place with a rich and varied menu. The staff were extremely attentive, and the service was excellent and remarkably fast. Everything was delicious. We had a very enjoyable French meal. Thierry took care of us. He was very cheerful, sincere, and warm in his manner. We would like to thank him very much. We were also truly surprised that he seemed to know all of his customers. He had lovely conversations with everyone who came and went.

I initially thought it would be a great place to dine in because it was quite crowded. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the price. While the staff were polite, the service itself needs significant improvement. The utensils were placed directly on the table without any tissue paper or proper setup, which felt unhygienic and unprofessional. The side dishes were okay, but the steak was served cold. The dessert was decent, although it could be less sweet. From the appetizers to the drinks, the quality and taste still need improvement. The waiting time was also quite long.

Been eating here for 7 years and their food quality is never really consistent. But today was the worse. Meat was over seasoned, too salty. They cooked the 5 pieces of meat by cutting them and seared on 1 side while leaving the other side untouched and called it medium rare (which is not even medium, it’s almost medium well!!) Dessert is alwayyyyys delicious but I think they don’t make the dessert. But either way, very delicious.

We are Canadians travelling in Saigon. Very happily found this French restaurant. We had a late light dinner: baked French onion soup was so delicious followed by the Niçoise salad. And we couldn’t pass on the apple tart it was heavenly. The staff was very attentive, helpful and lovely. Our server was Tien. Very nice ambience, indoor and outdoor dining. Large menu very good prices.
