오너 Su는 눈에 띄는 존재감으로 지속가능한 제품들을 자세히 설명하고 손님들과 소통하는데, 그 방식 덕분에 리테일 공간이 매장 진열대가 아닌 큐레이션된 추천처럼 느껴진다. 그 개인적인 헌신이 공간 전체의 흐름을 만들어낸다: 아침에 온 방문객들이 오후까지 머물고, 혼자 작업하러 온 이들이 몇 시간씩 자리를 잡으며, 이 공간은 워크숍도 개최해왔다. 방문객은 새로움보다 의도를 중시하는 외국인 거주자들과 환경 의식이 있는 현지인들이 주를 이룬다.
Thao Dien의 다른 지역 카페들과 이곳을 구별짓는 것은 우연히 놓인 것이 하나도 없다는 점이다. 마당, 오래된 나무, 대나무 제품들, 메뉴 — 모든 세부 요소가 같은 메시지를 강화한다. 미적 감각만을 추구하는 경우가 많은 이 동네에서, 이곳의 일관성은 그 자체로 하나의 차별점이다.
The complex synthesizes handcrafted items such as clothes, jewelry, leather goods, souvenirs... The atmosphere in the area is quiet, I am pretty impressed with the big "old tree" in the middle of the yard. The decoration and arrangement of the restaurants are also quite eye-catching. The lights are enough to see, so if you want to take pictures at night, it's a bit difficult :D
I truly love this place! They have a wide range of eco producers. You can get bamboo straws or toothbrushes here as well as wooden spoons and coconut bowls. They have a tiny menu but everything is simply delicious. I loved the smoothie bowl and the coconut coffee. Keep it up guys!
Be Quick! They're relocating next month and if you haven't enjoyed the incredible experience of Green Around The Corner then I fear you're missing a jewel of Saigon... A heavenly sanctuary with delicious vegan platters and open sandwiches of incredible delicacy and perfectly balanced tastes and textures plus a spectrum of natural and sustainable items to explore and engage with makes this an oasis of warmth, gentle detailed style and hygge/kos that turned our morning brunch into an all day engagement and discussion with other guests/customers until our taxis arrived after 5pm!!!
