⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hemma Dessert Bar in Thao Dien is an absolutely beautiful place for desserts. Everything feels thoughtfully curated from the elegant atmosphere to the way each dish is presented like a piece of art. You can really tell that high-quality ingredients and careful preparation go into every dessert. The desserts are fancy, artistic, and refined, but most importantly, they taste amazing. It’s the kind of place where you slow down and truly enjoy what you are eating. If you are looking for a high-quality spot with exceptional desserts and a stylish vibe, Hemma is definitely worth visiting.

Pretty cool place, first time I tried eatery that focus on innovative desserts. My fav is Mushroom, dessert dish but with a hint of savoury flavor, very creative with the palete. The staff carefully explained each dish before we eat, the chef was really friendly and even stopped to chat about his inspiration for the menu. We also get their advent calendar's gift of that day which is lime fudge. Hope more people will know about this place and give it a try.

A lovely little dessert bar focusing only on desserts, made with high-quality ingredients by a Swedish chef. The desserts are creative yet delicate and delicious, not overly sweet. The space is cozy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it’s truly pet-friendly—they even gave my dog a homemade treat and dog ice cream 🐶💛 Highly recommend the homemade ginger beer and the chocolate mousse. A hidden gem that deserves more love.

Walking into Hemma felt like discovering a hidden gem. Tucked away down a quiet alley, the exterior presented something special: a rustic-modern vibe that made you pause and lean in. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy yet modern, the kind of space that complements not just the food, but the whole experience. The charming menu intrigued me and I opted for the lavender and calamansi. The dessert presented to me was already a piece of art, but the way the jovial, ever-courteous girl behind the bar presented it made it even sweeter. She walked me through every compartment with such enthusiasm and professionalism that I almost forgot I was supposed to focus on the dessert. From the very first bite, I was struck by how different the desserts were from anything “typical.” The flavors were immaculate and clean, delicate and very balanced almost like a refined finish. This is contrasting to conventionally heavy or overly sweet desserts. The plating felt like art, and watching the main chef at work made it feel like a performance: you’re not just eating, you’re witnessing creativity unfold right in front of you. The most impactful for me was the immersive experience. Friendly staff and a chef who clearly cares about interactions with the customers and upholds a professional standard to the bar. For me, the price wasn’t just for the dessert. it included the entire sensory experience: the vibe, the taste, the ambiance, the charm. Hemma isn’t just a dessert place: it’s an experience. Worth every minute, every dong. If you’re in HCMC and craving something novel, this is it!

Had a great experience and also enjoyed desserts that’s craft to incredibly delicious by Chef Niklas. Swedish chef cooks local vietnamese ingredient into another level. Our first dish was Sakura Panna, Presentation is great! a beautiful art (my girlfriend took almost 5minutes just taking a picture😂) as for the taste was very well balanced I love how everything just melt in your mouth and alot of thing happening inside. For the kumquat rice pudding presentation was again beautiful! However imo its alittle too sweet for my palate but for sure theres someone out there that has different palate would love the dish. But overall everything was great, definitely will be back for more.
