The place is super cute and the food is very fresh. I love eating small things with a lot of variety so thats how I ordered and it was perfect for me.

Fresh fish and tasty eel - their must-try signature dish. The kitchen is open so you can see the chef making food. Lovely staff and promotion activities.

The food is varied and delicious (with even a few vegetarian options if you include eggs). The service is friendly, the decor is charming and the selection of clothes to dress up for photos is a nice touch.

I came here because the restaurant name sounded reputable, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The overall food quality is mediocre at best. Most of the ingredients taste far from fresh — you can immediately tell that the seafood and meat are not handled properly. The grilled salmon, in particular, was extremely salty and unpleasant to eat. Even the rice and side dishes lacked flavor and quality, which is surprising for a restaurant that tries to present itself as a Japanese-style place. Another major issue is how the restaurant keeps pushing fake promotions. Staff repeatedly approach customers to ask for 5-star reviews in exchange for a free grilled frozen scallop. The scallop itself is clearly not fresh, likely just defrosted and reheated. This kind of behavior feels dishonest and manipulative — they’re more focused on boosting their ratings than actually improving the food or service. It gives a very bad impression of their business ethics. Overall, this is not a restaurant I would recommend. The quality is poor, the ingredients are low-grade, and the way they pressure customers for fake reviews is unacceptable. If you’re looking for real Japanese food or even decent grilled dishes in Phan Xích Long, there are many better options around. I definitely won’t be coming back.
