Indigo) and stopped to look at its menu because the restaurant itself it look intriguing and beautiful from the outside. We wound up dining there twice for dinner, and were delighted both times. This is a fine dining restaurant, which is reflected in the prices (high for Vietnam, but inexpensive by US metropolitan area standards). The service was excellent. My only complaint would be that some of the staff didn't understand English very well (but if that was the case, they quickly brought over someone else who did).\n\nWe appreciated that the menu consisted of dishes from all over the Mekong Delta region: southern Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. It's open for lunch and dinner. There is a nice selection of drinks, both alcoholic and mocktails.\n\nThe menu is quite large and handed to you on an iPad. It was easy to navigate, but might be off-putting to older customers. I assume that they also have a paper menu. There are so many choices, it's a bit overwhelming at first. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. We usually ordered one or two salads or appetizers, one or two main dishes, and (one time) dessert. I especially enjoyed the delicate Mekong Fish, which was topped with fragrant fresh herbs and vegetables. The salads were equally enjoyable. It has been a few weeks since my trip so I don't remember exactly what that we ordered, but I truly believe that there are no bad choices at this restaurant. You will be immersed in authentic Mekong Delta cuisine.\n\nThe restaurant itself is beautiful and modern. I loved the quiet and sophisticated atmosphere, which greets you at the front entrance with its lovely little garden. I think that if even if you weren't going there for lunch or dinner, it would be a nice spot to sit at the bar for a drink and some elevated snacks.\n\nIf you are staying at one of the hotels in the area, or anywhere in District 1, I highly recommend that you check out One River Mekong Eatery. We considered it a gem of a find, right near our hotel.
