I was given a room whose balcony doors couldn't close tight. So you could hear all the noise coming from outside making it difficult to sleep. And further more the entrance door was a glass door, so all the light from the corridor was coming in. The following day they told me that they would downgrade me since that room was allocated because the hotel was fully booked and it was a luxury room instead of the standard room I booked. But I wasn't told so when I checked in. Otherwise I had to pay more money to keep that room. I refused to pay. I told them that I wasn't swapping the room and told them that they couldn't kick me out since I had booked and paid for two nights. After about 10 minutes arguing they gave up and told me that they would offer me a bottle of water free of charge in exchange for a good review.
