I had an initial consultation for around 20 minutes, was X-Rayed, prodded, questioned and finally given a quote for the work.\n\nI agreed to proceed and booked the appointment. The work to file down the front teeth took around 30-40 minutes, I was taken great care of, it was as gentle a procedure as I could have hoped for.\n\nNo pain! No discomfort, just care, constantly checking if I was ok, and then they set the molds for the upper and lower jaw. A quick temporary capping and a rinse and I was done.\n\nI was told to come back after 3 days. I was so excited to be getting the new teeth, I felt as though my faith in oral health care was being restored.\n\nI went back for the final fitting procedure and after around 15 minutes of chipping off the temporary capping they fitted the new teeth.\n\nWow 🤯 The new teeth were perfect in terms of shape, fit and color - they were an exact match, totally blown away, even emotional!\n\nThe final procedure took around 20 minutes and after a clean and a floss to remove the excess and set the teeth I was fine to go about my day with a smile that I haven’t experienced in a good while.\n\nThe whole experience has restored my faith in dentistry, firstly the staff and the dentist, just amazing, warm and kind, friendly and so gentle and compassionate.\n\nThe surgery room was pristine and never made me question any cleanliness issues, and finally the cost for the work. Just super affordable, a very decent and fair price for an all inclusive procedure that included a 10 year warranty! When i arrived i was greeted by the front desk staff, and the “dentist” sat on the couch quickly went inside to change into his lab coat. That raised some questions. However, since i made the appointment i decided to commit anyways, whats the worst that could happen? Well, the room and equipment could use some cleaning, i was a registered dentist assistant for a few years in the US, i know how these are supposed to be cleaned. But here, its not the best. Some equipments has rust or residue of it.\n\nAnyways, it was a pretty quick process, as everything, and i mean, everything happened in under 30 minutes. Went in, greeted by the front desk, dentist says hes ready, laid down on the chair, no words were exchanged between us, no x-ray, nor any photos taken of my teeth, just straight into cleaning for 20 minutes, including some very quick polishing. That raised a lot of questions, but in my head at the time, i didn’t know what to do, nor what to expect as ive never had my teeth cleaned outside of the US before.\n\nBut to say the least, my teeth does not feel clean, and i paid $200 VND for roughly 20 minutes of some guy just basically poking my teeth with an ultrasonic scaler, and polishing my teeth from idk what. And im not even sure if the guy who worked on my teeth was a dentist, he seemed very off, hes not the guy you see on the google review photos, he seemed much younger. The way he carried himself says a lot. So hence “dentist”\n\nI ended up at a different dentist and he says my teeth was not cleaned properly, and i still have plaque underneath my gum.
