From walking in to finally getting my drink, it took 47 minutes and when it arrived, it was in a paper cup, which is apparently normal for this branch but is a huge pet peeve of mine when I’m dining in. I didn’t say anything, but a few minutes later they suddenly asked if I wanted it in a glass instead; I said yes (which I now regret), and that meant another 20 minutes waiting for a new drink. By the time it arrived, any excitement I had for this visit had pretty much faded.\n\nI still have a soft spot for their other branch and the experiences I’ve had there, but this visit to Hồ Hảo Hớn left me with really mixed feelings. One bad experience does ruin the brand for me. Everything we ordered we were extremely happy with. The coffee (especially salt coffee), I’ve teas, smoothies and juices were all amazing and there are so many options. We also ate here a few times. The Banh mi was delicious, I also had rice with stir fried beef and veggies which was lovely (large portion). Our favorite food was the seafood spring rolls and crispy prawns - amazing. And same goes to the staff, they were very welcoming, remembered us each visit and gave us a very comfortable experience.
