Brick Coffee - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

About This Place
Brick Coffee sits inside the Masteri T5 complex on Võ Nguyên Giáp, drawing residents of the building and expats from across Thao Dien looking for a flexible all-day spot. The layout spans two levels — ground-floor tables that fill with laptop workers through the morning hours, and an upstairs section that offers a raised view over the surrounding development.
The item that generates the most conversation is the snow beer: a large Sapporo served with frozen Sapporo ice on top, priced at 60,000 VND and brought to the table by staff who work the floor throughout the day. It shifts the space toward something deliberately hybrid — part cafe, part casual drinking spot — a positioning the menu reinforces. Korean street food sits alongside espresso drinks: soft rice cake tteokbokki in both original and spicy rose variants with cheese sauce, a bulgogi hot dog, and a short list of fresh juices and teas (Earl Grey, chamomile, English breakfast) available in medium and large.
The coffee and drinks side handles the basics competently. Pricing lands at the upper end for the area, and the food portion sizes have drawn pointed remarks in reviews — something worth bearing in mind before ordering the full Korean menu. The tteokbokki skews sweet for some palates.
What the space does consistently well is atmosphere for long stays: a soundtrack of Korean and English soft pop, reliable air conditioning, and the convenience of the Masteri T5 address for anyone living in or commuting through the complex. The uniform 6 AM–11 PM hours across all seven days make it one of the more predictable options on this stretch of the riverfront, at a time when many nearby cafes keep irregular schedules.

Was a fresh tasty meal. Snow beer was the highlight Food in the end was to sweet for me
Such a cozy place if you want to do work or study in coffee shop.
This place doesn’t know if it wants to be a coffee place or a restaurant. The pictures should speak for themselves when it comes to hygiene. They offer loyalty cards. For 50k you get a stamp. But coffee costs 45k. Do you get it ?
The food is overpriced. Way way way overpriced for that kind of portion and quality in Vietnam. Not worth the value. 160k for a simple sunny side up egg, a sausage, 2 pcs of bacon, and 2 pcs of toast sliced into half. I wonder if they are out of their mind ? If you live here in district 2 long enough u will get what I mean. With 160k I can find a better version of great food (and not Street food mind you) in District 2 cafes and restaurants. Otherwise save your money, walk a few steps to the mall next door, where Starbucks or Highland Coffee is located. That’s where u can find a better atmosphere and globally or nationally known branded coffee with decent priced food. However if u r here for their snow beer, or whatever they called it, because some times it really looked like how they advertised it otherwise some times it’s just beer without the snow. So it’s by luck and by mood I guess or it’s a hit and miss, as in if they feels like they want to give you that portion of “snow” (ice on top of the beer) or not. Another fact is that they don’t have a proper build-in kitchen to cook the food nor proper ventilation while the food is being prepared, … while the eggs is being fried, the bacon being grilled, the toast being toasted and so forth all the while In an enclosed space … I shall leave it to your imagination.
