The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming throughout the meal.\n\nThat said, I didn't feel the seafood was as fresh as it could have been. It was still enjoyable, but for a sushi restaurant I expected a higher level of freshness.\n\nMy biggest concern, however, was the condition of the ceiling. Once I looked up, I noticed what appeared to be a significant mold problem. Had I seen it when I first walked in, I likely would have chosen to dine somewhere else. Beyond being unsightly, mold can pose a serious health risk to both customers and employees if left unaddressed.\n\nThis restaurant has a lot of potential, and I hope management addresses the ceiling issue as soon as possible. Surprisingly, the saba was hard/rigid giving the impression of not being very fresh. Had it at another restaurant a couple days earlier and it was very tender.\nI was very excited to see jellyfish salad on the menu. It was fabulous! The uni and salmon belly nigiri style were very good. The atmosphere was beautiful and the service was excellent!
