Today we visited Jalsa Indian Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh District 1, and it was an amazing experience! If you’re craving authentic Indian food, this place is definitely worth a visit. The food was delicious, with plenty of great vegetarian options, while the non-vegetarian dishes were equally impressive. The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I’d highly recommend! 🇮🇳✨

Deeprandra and Sagar are fantastic, and the gastric service is top-notch. The tandoori was excellent, and that’s definitely what I’d order again. We also found the puri to be great and would recommend it as well. The chat is great, the food is reasonable, and the service is quick and efficient.

I visited this place during Lunar New Year just because I happened to pass by and saw how crowded it was. I was also curious since I had never tried Indian food before. So I went in with a group of friends to give it a try — and it was quite a surprise. The restaurant was clean, and all the staff were foreigners, very friendly and welcoming. The food was quite new and unfamiliar to us, but it was interesting and actually pretty good. I might come back again.

This place will give you authentic spicy Indian flavours. Fish Amritsari is a Must try as it was mouth melting. Dal tadka is also a good option to enjoy simply with rice. Not overpriced at all. Worthy as it was tasty! Got to know that the chefs were from Uttrakhand, well done guyz!

I visited Jalsa Indian Restaurant in the afternoon during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. I ordered chicken biryani for one person, and honestly it was amazing and very authentic, similar to the biryani I usually eat in India. The taste, spices, and portion were really satisfying. If you love Indian food, especially biryani, this place is definitely worth visiting. I also ordered a mango lassi, but unfortunately it was not very good and didn’t taste like a proper traditional lassi, so I wouldn’t recommend that item. The restaurant was quite busy even in the afternoon with many people dining. I was told that in the evening it becomes very crowded, and sometimes it’s difficult to find a seat, so pre-booking is recommended. Location-wise, it is a little inside from the main street but still very close to Ben Thanh Market, which makes it convenient if you are shopping nearby and want a good Indian meal afterward. The ambience is nice and comfortable, and the service was great. A special mention to Mr. Deependra, who was very welcoming, energetic, and always smiling — his service made the experience even better. Prices are slightly higher than some other places, and like many restaurants in the city they add VAT and service charge, so the final bill can be a bit higher. Still, the quality of the food and the experience make it worth it. Overall, I fully recommend Jalsa for authentic Indian food in Ho Chi Minh City, especially their biryani or other.
