We had an amazing dinner here. Everything was excellent including the service and ambiance.\nStarted with a dozen of crisp briny oysters. The manila clams in creamy, spicy harrisa sauce definitely placed the expectation bar high. Fresh clams, great texture and doneness, juicy and zero scent. We cleaned off all the sauce with the sourdough basket provided, delicious.\n\nEven the simple duck liver terrine with fresh persimmon, onion chutney, brioche and caramelized walnuts got us excited. The crisp pale yellow fruit turned out to be Dalat persimmons, crunchy, juicy with lightly fragrant floral notes. Thanks to the wait staff who shared the information.\n\nArtichoke salad on a bed of cheese and topped with vinegared kale and roasted Brussel sprouts, refreshing. Think and aged balsamic vinegar would have toned down the tartness but it works as a good palate cleanser. Beef cheek is well rendered, gelatinous and tender. Loved the carrots too, so sweet.\n\nA large serving of thick cut pork chop was next. Well seasoned with a lovely brown crust. Served with a side of mash and watercress. We called it a night by skipping desserts and getting burgundy snails with bone marrow. Solid finish, we left very contented.
