Moa Moa Pasta Club - Italian restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Fresh pasta is the latest trend in Ho Chi Minh City. Though located in an old building, walking inside reveals a dedicated pasta-making area with various types of pasta stylishly displayed. The pathway to the seating area features a semi-open kitchen. Watching the kitchen staff working energetically in such a spotless environment really builds up anticipation. So far, I've tried 5 or 6 types of pasta, and every single one was delicious; it’s clear they use the perfect recipe for each style. For now, my top favorites are the cannelloni, the gnocchi, and the truffle cream pasta. However, it’s not just the pasta—their meat dishes are also fantastic. You can tell they carefully select their ingredients while also keeping local preferences in mind. It's not just tasty; it's a genuinely exciting dining experience. I'm also impressed by their non-alcoholic drinks. They offer options that mimic white and red wine, which I absolutely love. It’s a wonderful example proving that you can fully enjoy Italian cuisine even without real wine. The staff are always friendly and highly attentive to each table, ensuring a completely comfortable and pleasant visit every time. I haven't tried their brunch menu yet, so I’ll definitely have to go back for that next!

This place is very aesthetic with great view from the balcony. I would say that the design & presentation really stand out. The staff is very attentive to customers. The only thing that needs improvement is probably the food. The pasta I ordered that day was not available, so the staff was very flexible to recommend a substitute. I feel that the portion is quite small regarding the pricing, and I was not very impressed at the flavour. It was decent, but did not create a wow to me. Good for experimenting, and I hope that the food quality shall improve.

Overall great experience The food was tasty and the portions were excellent. The staff were also well informed and very courteous. The view over the walk was nice as well The price points are high for Vietnam, but for the western world it would be considered economic. I’ll be back

I’ve eaten here twice, once right after the soft launch and again three months later. Food: - Beefsteak: We ordered medium-rare but were served well-done initially. They replaced it with a proper medium-rare once we gave feedback. Thank you for that. - Cannelloni: Highly recommended. The tomato base adds a fresh taste that balances out the creamier pasta dishes. - Creamy Mushroom Truffle Pasta: Quite good. They gave the option of "thick" or "soft" pasta, I went with thick/as-is, and it was still enjoyable. - Miso Nori: A seasonal dish, if I’m not wrong. It has a very rich seaweed flavor which made it a bit too "fishy" so personally, i don't like the taste. - Carpaccio de carne (dried-age beef): highly recommend but i forgot to take a photo The Service: - 1st visit: Excellent. We were served by an attentive, experienced lady who caught every detail. I was sitting right under the AC and my food was getting cold, but she helped adjust the temp and warm the dishes up. - 2nd visit: quite terrible, which is why I’m rating service at 2 stars. The staff were young, inexperienced, and clumsy, forgetting orders and lacking basic coordination.

Portions are tiny, feel like being scammed. Food is below average, all prices you have to add 5% of service charge then on top of that 8% of VAT. A beef carpaccio size ridiculous charged at 290.000 VND with less than 3 slices, less than 30 g. of meat and few ridiculous lettuces. Most of their pasta tiny portion is 340.000 VND and it’s not even good. Sauce is simply wrong. Cheap utensils and cheap dishes used. Cocktails are way below average. Definitely first and last time to go. Don’t waste your time to try there. There are way better quality elsewhere.
