Nestled right in the heart of Saigon, Nê Cocktail Bar is truly one of the city’s hidden gems. The location is incredibly convenient, yet once you step inside, it feels like you’ve escaped the busy streets into a warm, intimate, and beautifully designed space. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and perfect whether you’re visiting with friends or simply enjoying a quiet drink alone. What impressed me the most was the quality of the cocktails. Every drink was thoughtfully crafted, balanced, and full of character. You can immediately tell that a lot of passion and creativity goes into every glass. A special mention goes to the bartender, who is an internationally awarded mixologist. His knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine passion for cocktail making made the entire experience even more memorable. It’s rare to find this level of craftsmanship and hospitality in one place. The service was excellent from start to finish, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to recommend drinks based on personal preferences. If you’re looking for an authentic cocktail experience in Ho Chi Minh City, this is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. I’ll absolutely be coming back the next time I’m in Saigon. I was genuinely excited to hear that Nê Cocktail Bar had opened a branch in Saigon, so I dropped by to revisit their signature drinks. However, the overall experience ended up being quite disappointing. The main issue was the service and attitude. I was seated at a table and politely asked for some plain water, as I noticed guests sitting at the bar counter were being served tap water. Instead, the staff brought me a chargeable bottle of Lavie. When I questioned why table guests weren't offered tap water like those at the bar, the server bluntly replied, 'That is our policy,' and showed absolutely no interest in explaining further. If this is truly your operational policy, it needs to be handled with much more tact. You cannot have guests sitting just two steps away from the bar feeling such a stark difference in how they are treated. If the ultimate goal is to encourage guests to spend more money at the venue, at least treat us with basic courtesy and the standard of hospitality expected from a premium bar first. Furthermore, there is a clear disconnect in the venue's atmosphere. The space is heavily designed with a classic speakeasy vibe, yet they had a DJ playing loud hip-hop music. It completely clashes with the conceptual direction the brand seems to be aiming for. Great signature drinks as always, but the rigid customer service and inconsistent ambiance really missed the mark.

The dim lighting, rich wood textures, and intimate setting make it the perfect place to unwind over a cocktail or enjoy meaningful conversations. Every detail feels intentional.
