A friend recommended Noir, so we knew it would be special, but it still completely exceeded our expectations.\n\nWe had a reservation for two on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM and were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. We were served complimentary welcome cocktails (nonalcoholic options available), played a fun sensory game to prepare us for the darkness, and were then guided upstairs by Mr. Hii, who was absolutely delightful and made the entire evening feel comfortable and exciting.\n\nDining in complete darkness is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. The food was exceptional—beautifully prepared, high quality, and served at a perfect pace. Trying to identify each dish using only taste, smell, and texture turned dinner into an adventure, and we were genuinely shocked and amused when the menu was revealed at the end.\n\nNoir is far more than a meal; it’s an immersive experience that changes the way you think about food and your senses. It was unforgettable, and it will be one of the first places we return to on our next visit to Ho Chi Minh City. Our waitress was absolutely brilliant, funny and so good at explaining everything from the location of your drink to her every move at the table. At first we were all a bit uncomfortable and scared, but by the end we were so comfortable and sad it was over! Seeing the menu items at the end also blew our mind. A brilliant experience from start to finish. You should definitely give it a try.
