Nông Thôn Đại Việt - The Rice Restaurant - Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

After a few days of Vietnamese food, I felt like having something Western for a change and this place was exactly what I was looking for. I ordered the steak with pepper sauce and started with the onion soup. Everything was spot on. The steak was cooked well, the sauce had great flavour, and the soup was a perfect start to the meal. The service also deserves a special mention: very friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I felt comfortable and well looked after during the whole visit. A very pleasant experience in Bui Vien and definitely recommended if you’re looking for good Western food in Ho Chi Minh City. I’ll gladly come back. Want to follow more of my adventures? The place is amazing. The service is also excellent. They are so accommodating. Plus, the food is quite delicious with reasonable price. This restaurant os recommendable and we’ll go back for sure.

From the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The fried frog legs with skin we tried was really good and I would recommend it to people who would like to try frog legs. The coconut coffee was average but the egg coffe and vietnam cold coffee was good. The mixed seafood noodles was also good but the shrimp felt a little overcooked. Overall, I would really recommend this place.

Had the best tasting crab so far. The service was also great although some misunderstanding about our order and their menu happened. Had to double check the receipt. I would not want to pay for something we didn't eat. Everything we ordered were fantastic. We ordered coconut salad with shrimp and pork and it was delish. My daughter loved the restaurant already. She said it was really delicious there.
