I have to say it's the best gelato in Vietnam, if not all of Asia and even places in Europe. Ralf is a master of artisanal gelato! His flavors are natural and creamy. Don't hesitate to try them because you'll be amazed by their quality and won't want to go anywhere else! My favorite place in Saigon, without a doubt.

Ralf's new spot at Eco Wellness is a bit cosy, but it got a lovely balcony overlooking the street. There is seating for about six people out there, with four spots right by the railing. Inside, you will find two more seats with a pool view and another two in the courtyard downstairs. The menu changes monthly, so there is always something new to try. In addition to traditional flavours, there will be about 2-3 creative gelato flavours with special ingredients, such as fish sauce gelato or beef pho sorbet – the kind of quirky treats that made Ralf's Gelato stand out among Saigon's gelaterias a few years ago. The price of VND 70.000 may sound expensive at first, but if you consider the weight and quality you get, Ralf's is definitely the place that sells the best and cheapest gelato in the area! For VND 70.000, you can get 2 scoops of 2 different gelato flavours, 1 large scoop and 1 (not at all) small scoop. I reckon the best combos are ones with similar base notes (strawberry and lime / chocolate and coffee / smurf and coconut). Those who prefer a bold flavour combo can try the combination of raspberry sorbet and Belgian chocolate like me. But to be honest, I am not a huge fan of that pairing myself.
Easily the best Gelato I've had in all of Vietnam. You can really taste the natural flavors, not artificial like many of the other places I've tried here. Plus, Tram and the staff are always very kind, friendly, and thoughtful!
This gelato spot in Thao Dien serves up the finest ice cream in town. I'm a regular here, visiting at least twice a week. Their coffee flavour is unbeatable, and my other favourites are coconut, strawberry, and chocolate variations too. Unlike other places, the flavours taste genuinely natural, not artificial. Plus, they offer a smart strategy of giving an extra small scoop for you to try. The staff, especially the owner, is incredibly helpful and friendly. To top it off, they serve complimentary tea after your ice cream—a lovely touch.
My favourite ice cream / gelato spot. A little on the pricy side but the scoop is huge, and you get to have a “small” scoop of another flavour for free. Small in quotes because it’s not small. I tend to always get the coffee flavour and a small scoop of whatever catches my eye, if not I just get coconut. Only down side is the seating area tends to have mosquitoes but they have mosquito repellent spray on the tables for you to use.
