RAMEN KIMURA - Nguyễn Gia Trí - Ramen restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

It's ramen shop in the area of the students near University. The shop was so huge and there are many tables. I had the set menu, Tonkotsu ramen and chasiu rice. The ramen was really ok. It's authentic Tonkotsu ramen. I don't say it's the best, but it's authentic one even as Japanese point of view. It tasted very good. Charsieu rice could be improved a little more, but good enough. The quality for the price was really high here. I may not go the other ramen shop after visited here Lol. I think the owner here is Vietnamese, so the shops owned by Japanese should feel the risk by this shop in Vietnam.

Food: ok, a little bit salty (for my taste). Service: ok. Atmosphere: ok. Price: affordable. About 70,000 vnd per dish in average.

Have been going here for over two years now. Solid Ramen at a reasonable price. The Tonkotsu broth is nice and rich with pork flavor. The spicy Tonkotsu ramen is also amazing which you can get at different spice levels. Taste is authentic to ramen I've had in Tokyo. Prices start at 79k. With an extra order of Chashu meat and a drink, my meal usually comes out to around 125k. Quick and simple service. You can order via QR code as well. It is spacious and has AC which is always a bonus.

The food was good and reasonably priced, which I appreciated. However, the service fell negatively impacted my experience. I had to wait over 20 minutes for the food without any explanation, even though two other tables that arrived after me were served their food first. When I asked about the delay, the staff simply stated that my order required more preparation time, without offering an apology. It’s unreasonable to expect customers to be self- aware about how long to prepare their order.

needless to say that this is one of my fav ramen spots in saigon! its honest, humble and super tasty ramen! owner is japanese and so you know the flavours are going to be legit! we talking strong bold tonkotsu ramen at its best! this spot is their second restaurant (the other one is near Van Hanh Mall) and this one much larger and spacious! plenty of seating and easily can cater for large groups! i definitely recommend this spot!!!
