⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Stopped by TacoLeo because the colorful Mexican-inspired decor and vibrant ambience caught my eye, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The mural inside makes the place feel lively, and it’s a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere with character. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were tasty. The shrimp were well-cooked, the toppings were fresh, and the sweet mango paired nicely with the savory flavors. The portions were decent and everything was nicely presented. The only downside is the price—it feels a little on the expensive side for tacos in Saigon. That said, you’re also paying for the atmosphere and dining experience, not just the food. Overall, if you’re craving Mexican food and want a fun place to hang out, TacoLeo is worth checking out. Just be prepared to spend a bit more than you might expect.

Great Mexican food restaurant in downtown Saigon. Very nice selection of Mexican cuisine, you'll find the common dishes here. The portions are quite big and filling, with very affordable prices. Order by the counter, service is quite basic with one staff manning the counter and bringing us food. She's supportive overall. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with cool wall paintings and fun Mex decor. Would recommend if you're craving Mexican food. They have a lot of regular discounts depending on the day of the week.

This is such a cute little Mexican restaurant and honestly VERY worth visiting 😭 I randomly found this place while walking along Trần Hưng Đạo Street in District 1, and the first thing that caught my attention was how adorable the decoration was. The whole vibe genuinely reminded me of the movie Coco 🥹 If you’ve watched it before, you’ll probably understand exactly what I mean. The colors, decorations, little details, tablecloths, and atmosphere all feel warm, lively, and very playful in a charming way. I once had authentic Mexican food abroad, and ever since then I’ve been craving that flavor constantly 😭 But honestly, many Mexican restaurants in Vietnam taste very different from the original style, so I’ve always been searching for a place that feels a little closer to real Mexican flavors. I randomly walked into this restaurant without expecting much, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. The menu is super diverse, with many different dishes to choose from. I uploaded some photos below so everyone can check them out too. For an easy and safe choice, I ordered tacos. The tacos were only around 50–55k each, which I honestly think is VERY affordable for District 1 pricing. The portion and quality felt totally worth it. The restaurant itself is small but extremely cozy and cute. One funny thing I noticed was that the place was FULL of foreigners 😂 I sat there for maybe five minutes and almost every table around me was occupied by Western customers. So if anyone likes practicing English or casually chatting with foreigners, this place honestly has that kind of vibe too 😅 The staff were also super sweet and welcoming. On the tables, they even decorated with traditional Mexican-style tablecloths and little hats that customers could wear for photos, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. Overall, this place feels colorful, warm, lively, and very easy to enjoy. The food, decoration, atmosphere, and people all made the experience really pleasant for me. Highly recommend visiting if you like Mexican food or simply want a cute little café-restaurant experience in District 1 🌮✨

I arrive at Tacoleo with a hungry stomach and a craving for Mexican Food. My expectation is not high, just a regular, simple Shrimp burrito. Nothing crazy, nothing fancy. And TacoLeo serves me ,AFTER 15-20 MINS with 3 full-served already tables, a tasteless, not Mexican, not fusion anything whatsoever, burrito that I have to question what covers the shrimps (frozen ones) with crazy amount of butters that you could smell, taste it and even after I’m home, i still have it deep in my nostrils. Imagine you going to a Vietnamese Pho restaurant and you see a white cook at the back in the kitchen who serves you a bowl of Pho with the nastiest broth you ever had. This shrimp burrito DO me the same. Pico de gallo, guacamole are advertised on the menu, and when I have a bite, I don’t see anything. Lime juice???? If you don’t know how to make arroz rojo then why don’t you go with a simple Cilantro-lime rice. I have to order a “jalapeños sauce” to add a little of kick to the burrito but I once again cannot tell whether if it’s salsas or what even the sauce I just have. The cost for the burrito is 155k and the sauce itself is 25k (which is whatever) but I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR THE FOOD. Oh btw, the place is clean. Give credit for the cleanliness.
