Dirty matcha: creamy but not that wow Strawberry cold brew: fresh, sour and sweet! The taste is okey but kinda pricey

The Orange Ball - Coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh City

About This Place
The Orange Ball draws a loyal morning crowd to this compact An Khánh café with a focused menu built around espresso and cold brew. The signature Dirty Latte—bold espresso poured over cold, creamy milk—earns consistent praise across reviews, and the Coco Americano, espresso cut with fresh coconut water, has become a neighborhood staple. Both drinks reflect a café that takes its sourcing seriously, running Vietnamese robusta alongside Italian-style espresso preparations.
The cold brew program has depth: brewed for hours to reduce bitterness and acidity, it comes plain, in 250ml bottles for takeaway, or infused with cinnamon for a warm-spiced finish. A Matcha Einspänner—earthy matcha layered beneath whipped cream in a nod to Viennese café tradition—signals ambition beyond the standard iced latte repertoire.
Food plays a supporting role. A Pain Suisse—soft, buttery brioche filled with vanilla cream and chocolate—earns specific callouts from reviewers, suggesting it isn't just a pastry case filler.
The café sits on Đường Số 2, open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM, which makes it a practical stop before the midday heat sets in. Staff warmth comes up repeatedly among regulars who describe it as a near-daily habit. Parking is free at the salon next door for customers—a minor but appreciated detail in a neighborhood where scooter logistics rarely resolve cleanly.
Pricing runs toward the higher end for the area, and the compact footprint means a full house feels tight. For a morning cold brew or a carefully made Coco Americano, this café has built its 4.6-star standing through consistency rather than spectacle.

Loved the Pain Suisse cake here, soft, buttery brioche with creamy vanilla and chocolate.
One of the best coffee shops in Thao Dien! Such a cute spot; I come here almost every morning. I love the coffee here, and you can tell every drink is made with love. Staff is also very friendly. My go-to drinks: cold brew, coco americano and iced latte. Creamy latte is also amazing!
