Everything was lovely, the ambience, the staff, the food, the drinks, the price also. Easily one of my favs hidden gem in Saigon (if you could secure a table, of course). The place is incredibly Italian-coded, and everything is written (ordering, reservations, etc.)— are you kidding me?!? Classic, esp in this technological era. Beef tongue was the star of the show. It’s just as tender, juicy, and crunchy as you want any beef tongue to be. And the carbonara with Khánh Hòa boar pancetta?!? Creative, but not anything short of a classic (except if we could put the crispy pancetta on top as both a decoration and for the crispy texture, that would be heavenly). Tiramisu was just tiramisu. Honestly, I’ll give them a 5/5 if my bf did not have a bad stomach after the meal. But a 100% come back cause I will have to try out all of their menu!!

The food was superb with insane culinary flair, haven’t had such a good meal since Japan. The drinks were out of this world - especially the home made craft beer cola! The best part is that it is extremely affordable for the quality you get. We loved watching the crew hard at work as well.
Excellent place for a true dining experience. Food are amazing, service are exceptional. Only thing I’d say is I with the air con is cooler but it’s just me. Their food are so good that you want to keep ordering. We start with two drinks, two antipasta, two main and two desert. End up we add a bottle of sparkling water, one more antipasta and one more risotto. With this quality of food and service, it worth every penny.
I was very satisfied. They really put a lot of care into the food, and there were plenty of dishes that made great use of local ingredients. The prices weren’t high at all, and I was thoroughly satisfied. They also take great care with their wine selection, offering several options by the glass for those who don’t drink much, which I really appreciated. You can make reservations via Instagram and other platforms, and the polite responses made the booking process go smoothly. The only minor improvement I’d suggest is that the dining area is somewhat open to the outdoors, and small flies were drawn to the handmade pasta. While it wasn’t a major issue, it felt a bit unsanitary. It’s really just a minor detail. Since the location is in an entertainment district, the surroundings are a bit noisy, but it’s hardly noticeable. If you’re ever in Ho Chi Minh City, I highly recommend stopping by.
After needing to cancel some bookings, we finally had a chance to make it to Trattoria Three Little Owls. Tucked away in the famous little alleys of Little Japan Town, the location is half the magic. It feels like a secret escape from the Saigon rush—intimate, cozy, and effortlessly cool. We started with the Bruschetta with chicken liver and the marinated Kochi blue fin tuna. Both were, in a word, incredible. We ordered more bruschetta! The richness of the liver pate against the crunch of the bread was perfectly balanced, and the tuna was remarkably fresh, highlighting the chef's keen eye for quality ingredients. For the mains, we couldn't resist the classics: Parmesan Risotto: Creamy, rich, and cooked to a perfect al dente texture that's often hard to find. Carbonara: Authentic and indulgent with Khanh Hoa boar pancetta. Exactly what a soul-warming pasta should be. To top it all off, the desserts were amazing, providing a sweet exclamation point to a stellar meal. Crème brûlée was great! The wine selection is impressive and paired beautifully with our meal. The service is warm, and the vibe of the place split between a lively counter downstairs and more relaxed seating upstairs made it perfect for a date or a focused foodie session. The only slight disappointment in an otherwise flawless evening was the lack of traditional Italian digestives like Grappa, or even a selection of Japanese whisky to finish the night. Maybe I got lost in translation but there was nothing on the menu. This did not affect my experience at all. It was awesome. Will be back.
