I sincerely hope the owners will take this feedback into consideration. The taste and quality of the food were, unfortunately, not up to expectations. We ordered fish curry, masala dosa, watermelon juice, beer (which arrived without a glass), fish 65, and jeera rice. There was a considerable wait for our order, and we had to remind a staff member about our drinks. To be fair, the fish 65 was enjoyable, and the jeera rice was acceptable. However, the remaining dishes were quite bland. As customers who appreciate authentic flavors, we found the coconut chutney to be tasteless and the fish curry to have an unusual flavor, as if it had been reheated from frozen. While the manager appeared to be a pleasant individual, the waiter could benefit from additional training, especially when serving international guests. Regrettably, I do not anticipate returning to this establishment.

Called in as passing by and wanted something different to noodles and soup in central HCM. What a find the Chowk is. As a lover of Indian food I went for a firm favourite… Veg Thali. Did not disappoint in fact one of the best I’ve had outside of India itself…my friend had Chicken Korma equally very tasty. Highly recommended if you like your Indian food. Atmosphere marked down as it was early doors and quiet… not a reflection on the restaurant at all.

The food is below average ! Not even ine dish we ordered was good. Whoever chef is making these dishes is spoiling indian food. The machurian was so pale and noodles were soecially requested no oil but the takeaway bag was drooling in oil from ut. Even the dal makhni and naam with gobhi we had in the restaurant was soo bad. Please dont wate your money and time here. There are alot better indian options nearby.

Chandni Chowk – Authentic Indian Flavors in Ho Chi Minh City This evening, I happened to discover Chandni Chowk, an Indian restaurant located right on Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City—and what a delightful experience it was! The food was absolutely perfect: rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every bite reminded me of the vibrant spices and traditions of Indian cuisine. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. The restaurant itself is stylish and well-maintained, offering a comfortable space to enjoy your meal. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, Chandni Chowk is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!

My partner and I came here for dinner. Everything we ordered was lovely and cooked well. The only problem was the lack of spice. We ordered a chicken madras and asked for it to be extra spicy and there wasn't even a kick. Other than the spice the food was lovely. Maybe this is due to the restaurant possibly catering to westerners.
