Hmm maybe I'm just not a fan of European steaks, but the meals we got was just okay. The steaks did not have a nice search, the meat was cooked right but the meat was not what I would called tender...the portion/quality is good for the price though. The highlight was the fruit salad, fresh and good burrata. Overall a good meal, but i would go elsewhere for steaks. P.S. if you order the combos, they won't let you use any coupons or vouchers. So that was a let down.
A restaurant that truly lives up to expectations: the meat is excellent, the sauces flavorful, and the products taste just like in France—all at an affordable price. It’s actually better than it looks at first glance, since the taste is pleasantly surprising. I especially enjoy the complimentary toast served as a starter, a thoughtful touch. The presentation of the steak could be a bit more refined, but that doesn’t take away from the overall experience. This is definitely an address worth visiting and revisiting. The only downside is that the lunch combo wasn’t available today.
We came for dinner on Saturday night. Crowded and there was a mistake in the rare vs medium level of steak. Anyhow, taste of steak is good in general. Pasta is not their strength, salad is relatively good and it’s nice to see the Parisian style in decoration. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s not that premium premium, but nice to try, with couple or family.
Le Monde is a French restaurant that specializes in steak prepared with authentic French flavor and technique. To my surprise, the steak was soft, tender, and perfectly cooked to a medium-well, with a rich sauce on the side that enhanced the savory flavors beautifully. I’ve eaten at many steakhouses in the U.S., and considering the quality and price, this place is a bargain—meals cost around $11–12 USD including a drink, which would be double or triple the price back home. It’s definitely more expensive than a typical Vietnamese meal, but well worth it if you’re willing to spend a little extra for a delicious, well-executed steak. That said, the restaurant was a bit warm, possibly due to efforts to save on electricity, which made the dining area slightly uncomfortable during peak hours. If you’re going to spend a bit more money, air conditioning should at least be a standard. Still, the food quality and value easily make up for it, and I’d highly recommend Le Monde to anyone craving a solid French-style steak in Ho Chi Minh City.
Saw lots of review about this chain and we decided to give it a try. We got the 360g steak with mushrooms sauce and phu quốc sauce. The medium steak was melted in our mouth. The bake pasta was not good. And the sate mini potatoes was ok. Thë free entrée and dessert were so good.
