Phở Nhất Vị - Pho restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Came into Saigon late at night and this was nearby to my hotel. The pho was very flavoursome and tasty. Would definitely return if around the area.

The pan-seared beef phở (Phở Tái Lăn) was incredible—bursting with smoky flavor and perfectly tender. As a chef, I really appreciated the depth of the broth and the extra condiments that added to the overall experience. Exceptional first meal in District 7! 10/10.

I’m eating here for the second time, and I really enjoy it. The food is very delicious, everything is clean, and the staff is very kind and pleasant. The service is great as well. I also have allergies to gluten and dairy, and I’ve ordered the chicken Pho here twice everything has been perfect and very tasty. I also have a very sensitive stomach, so I can only eat at truly good and clean places and this is definitely one of them.

Located in the bustling Nguyễn Thị Thập area, just 20 meters from the Nguyễn Văn Linh intersection, this pho restaurant offers a unique take on pho with a variety of topping options. The standout dish is the spicy pho with mixed toppings, especially the rare beef pho with grilled beef (pho trộn tái lăn). The pho noodles are fresh and tender, paired with a rich black soy sauce dressing made from a secret recipe. Toppings include soft grilled beef, tender brisket, and flavorful beef balls. The soup served with the dry pho is clear and light, with a subtle beef broth flavor, although a bit oily. Overall, the pho is delicious and offers a unique twist. However, the prices are a bit high for the quality offered. A downside was that the restaurant ran out of blanched spring onion stems at 11 AM, which is surprising given the early time. Additionally, the staff could be more friendly and professional when serving or handling payment, as there was an unprofessional moment at a nearby table. Required more attention on the ambience of the shop as well.
