We had a terrible experience today although we used to come here quite frequently. We ordered only one dish (the cold noodles), and the staff member instantly expressed annoyance. He practically forced us to order more, stating that otherwise, we would receive less banchan. I told him that less banchan was no problem, as I felt too unwell to eat much today. I also mentioned that I might order more if we were still hungry after the noodles. The staff then brought the noodles and four small dishes of banchan, but he did not serve any water. I asked for a bottle of water several times, but he refused to provide it until I told him that I had eaten here many times and knew the water was complimentary. Afterward, I noticed the table next to us had also ordered only one dish, yet they received a full set of banchan and water. Again, the amount of banchan was not the issue; the main problem was the staff’s attitude. I felt discriminated against for ordering fewer dishes, and perhaps for being local people rather than foreigners. If this is your policy, please state it clearly so people can decide whether to eat in case they can't eat much. Normally, we order two dishes (the cold noodles and the grilled pork). Last time I ordered this, I didn't receive the rice and soup that usually come with the grilled pork. I assumed the set had changed until I saw the table next to me receive both. I didn't complain that time, but now I feel you need to address your staff's behavior. I tried to speak to the manager, but I felt ignored; he simply told someone else to give me the bill. He should have spoken to me instead of walking away.. 🙃
