Actually I don’t quite like unagi (eel) but here i ordered unagi rice bowl (i forgot the exact name) it was wonderful so lovely 🥰 and torikawa fantastic taste and matcha high was so high 🔥🔥🔥🔥 i came twice (just arrived and before go back to my country)✨✨
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic dining experience at Izakaya Unatoto Việt Nam in Ho Chi Minh City. I ordered the pork ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of flavour, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the pork was tender and generously portioned. The black fungus and other toppings added great texture and made the bowl even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a cosy Japanese atmosphere, the food arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese comfort food in Ho Chi Minh City, this is definitely worth a visit. I’ll happily come back the next time I’m in the city!
A pleasant place by pleasant folk, you'll be welcomed by a drum and the whole team of staff. Then a rather perilous journey upstairs for tallies with the multiple points of low headroom and many small decorations, to...nothing special, really. I wasn't disappointed at all but not wowed at all either. Prices were reasonable and food was alright. Recommended...? Not really, but it won't leave you frustrated, either. I saw a lot of nicer looking dishes in other reviews. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong stuff. Though, I would avoid the salmon sushi thing, salmon was really small, and could have not been there for the same taste. Wasabi is POWERFUL! Don't have too much of it.
We returned for our second night at Izakaya Unatoto Vietnam and enjoyed both the Hakkaisan and Zaku sake. 🍶 The food and service were great, with friendly staff who remembered us. The grilled stingray paired well with the sake, and the yakitori (crispy skin, gizzard, and tail) was very good. The grilled hoke was okay but had not much flavor and too many bones. Sushi was decent. On our first visit we had highballs, while the second night we focused on sake. Both bottles went quickly. The cherry blossom theme created a nice, cozy atmosphere. One unusual detail: food flyers posted in the toilet. 😆 Highly recommend! 🌸
