We tried the beef steak, sea bass and chicken in this restaurant which was hidden deep from the bustling streets of Saigon. The beef was cooked perfectly and very tender and the lunch sets were very affordable. 5 stars for the chefs who understood we were rushing for the airport and wasted no time in serving us the food quickly.
Delicious bisque and excellent value, especially the lunch set. The restaurant, “a la Franquette”, has a charming, understated atmosphere—classy yet relaxed. Whenever I’m feeling homesick for France, this is where I come. It captures a little taste of home.
We had a wonderful dinner at La Maison tonight. We ordered a variety of dishes including the meat platter, Norwegian salmon, duck breast, seafood spaghetti, fish soup, and pumpkin soup. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — the salmon was perfectly cooked, the duck was tender with a delicious sauce, and the seafood spaghetti was rich and satisfying. The soups were both excellent starters, especially the creamy pumpkin soup. The service was outstanding — attentive, professional, and genuinely warm throughout the evening. The staff were helpful with recommendations and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant for a refined French meal with excellent service. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Ho Chi Minh City!
What a gem of a location. Food was delicious great wine list, highly recommend the French merlot. Found it as it was walking distance to our hotel Staff are attentive and impeccable service. The pumpkin soup was delicious. Did the set menu was such a lovely sample of the menu Highly recommend
Truly amazing place, beautifully decorated in french style. The food was well cooked, beautifully plated and tasted delicious. The staff was attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, almost like dining in someones home.
