If you're looking for ancient and old Vietnam vibe, this is the place for you. Every seat can bring good images. However, beware of your head and steps when coming in or out and going up or down the stairs. The drink I took was a traditional fruit tea, but it wasnt too well. Mostly sour flavor consumes the taste. The prices on menu aren't updated. Most of them now are 50k to 55k. Not worth the price. No recommend.

Lão Hạc Quán - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

Cute cafe! Second floor has seating that faces out onto the street/river. Vintage-esque vibes inside.
If you’re tired of those flashy, modern cafes and just want a place that feels like home, you’ve gotta check out Lao Hac Quan on Hoang Sa street. To be honest, it’s not just a coffee shop, it’s more like a trip back to our grandparents' house. 📻 The whole place is packed with vintage stuff, like those bulky old TVs and rusty fans you’d see in a 1960s flick. Even though the space is quite small, it’s super cozy and has a few different vibes to choose from. If you’re into people-watching, grab a seat at the front or head up to the first-floor balcony. Sitting there with a cold drink, looking out at the canal while the breeze hits your face is the definition of chill. It’s the perfect spot to just hang out alone and clear your head. ✨ The menu is pretty diverse and the prices won’t break your bank, which is a big plus. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. They are incredibly sweet and always making sure you’re doing okay, which is way better than the service at those big commercial chains. I’ve spent hours there just leaning back on a wooden stool, sipping coffee, and listening to the soft instrumental music they play in the background. It’s a great place to get some work done or just have a long chat with a friend. Seriously, once you visit, you’ll probably find yourself coming back again and again. It’s just one of those spots that’s good for the soul. 🖤🩶🤍
This unique coffee place is located in the District 1. Lão Hạc Quán is a cool spot that transports you back to old Saigon. This retro-chic coffee shop boasts an interesting collection of vintage decor, from antique televisions to classic Vietnamese furniture, creating an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and charming. On the 2nd floor is a stunning view of the Nhieu Loc canal and the vibrant street life, providing the perfect backdrop for sipping your beverage of choice. During my visit, I was sipping refreshingl cold orange juice while working on my Go Saigon Tours project for a couple of hours.
