Lovely, cosy café with a small but thoughtfully chosen coffee menu — each drink felt made with love and care. The cheesecake was velvety and smooth, not overly sweet, which I appreciated. I wished there were more cake and pastry options; perhaps many were sold out because it was Sunday. Overall, a delightful, hidden spot.

I visited Maison Song Anh after seeing many positive Google reviews describing it as one of the best patisseries in Ho Chi Minh City. I ordered a coconut mango smoothie and a Pain aux Pommes. The smoothie was enjoyable and refreshing, and the prices were reasonable. The patisserie’s ambience was also pleasant and inviting. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the pastry. It was quite oily and difficult to bite into comfortably, which affected the overall experience. I also found the staff to be somewhat unfriendly and lacking warmth in their customer service. While I appreciated the atmosphere and smoothie, the pastry and service did not meet my expectations, so I am unlikely to return.

Best pain au chocolat ever! And that is a bold statement. Fantastic lamination, light, airy, served hot, delicious chocolate filling and freshly piped hot chocolate message on the serving plate. Hands down the best I have eaten anywhere. Coupled with a delicious creamy Saigon sweet iced coffee it was a highlight of this trip and the quiet backstreet location was a welcome oasis of calm in a very hot and hectic city. Very warm welcome given, my only complaint is that I could not stay and try more of the treats as I have far too many other things I have to eat while I am here! Worth the visit, definitely.

A charming French-themed patisserie and café serving Vietnamese and Italian coffee. A generous selection of pastries on offer, including croissants, pain au chocolat, cheesecake, and brownies. The decor is delightful with exposed brick, large floor tiles, and warm wooden tables creating an inviting space with a friendly atmosphere. The Garlic Cream Cheese Croissant was a highlight; the flaky pastry paired nicely with the sweet, creamy filling. The espresso left a little to be desired, but the Coconut Breeze more than made up for it: toasted coconut over an icy coffee blend with milk, and well worth trying.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Honestly the most delightful baked goods, WOW. My partner and I shared 3 and they were all incredible! Egg coffee and Saigon Salt coffee were also delicious. Lovely calm atmosphere and music inside too, with FAB aircon!
