Mascara is the kind of place that immediately feels stylish when you walk in, with lighting that really sets the mood. The shisha is well-mixed, smooth to smoke, and not too harsh. Drinks are decent, easy to enjoy, and nicely presented. It’s a good spot to sit back, chat, or just chill without it getting too noisy.

I did not eat, I just came off the main walking street to chill and get away from the chaos. The perfect spot to accomplish this. Good air conditioning and chill Hispanic music. Beer and liquor at average prices.

The best cocktail bar I found during my one-day stay in Ho Chi Minh after missing my flight to Nha Trang due to flight delay! Many pubs in Ho Chi Minh City allow smoking inside, but this place is a non-smoking area, making it a good place for non-smokers to spend time. Plus, the air conditioning is running so you can stay cool. In addition, you can enjoy your favorite type of cocktail recommended by the cheerful owner who is serious about cocktails. A really nice and cozy bar inside the alley. They have a nice mix of Spanish and English music with nice ambience, definitely not loud compared to Bui Vien street on the back. The cocktails are well-balanced and they can do some more even if they are not on the menu (for a little extra and as long as they have the ingredients/spirits to do so) Also, the happy hour goes from 18:00 to 20:00 and you get 20% off on classic and bespoke cocktails. Overall, an amazing bar with delightful drinks and really nice service. They have an amazing promotion for first timers, so be sure to check it out!
