Its a good place for a cheap and fresh vegetarian hotpot. the food is fresh, clean, abundant and very tasty. The reason i only give 3 stars is because the place is quite filthy, The tables and chairs are sticky and the bathroom is not very clean. Although all tablewear (ie. Plates, glasses and cutlery seems to be clean. Very popular around dinner time so show up early or be prepared to wait for a table. Its served buffe-style and dessert like ice cream and sweet tea is included in the cheap price of 139k.

I returned to Me Rau Buffet twice in just three days, which speaks volumes about how much I enjoyed it. Typically, I am not overly optimistic about buffet-style restaurants, especially vegetarian ones. However, Me Rau exceeded my expectations. I sampled three of their six hot pot broths and found them all to be flavourful: Herbal for those who prefer light flavours, Fermented Tofu for those who enjoy a subtle sweetness and richness, and Spicy and Sour (which was not spicy at all) for those who like tangy tastes. The vegetable selection was impressive, featuring quality produce like kale and Swiss chard, and the staff regularly replenished the buffet. There were five types of dipping sauces for vegetables; I particularly enjoyed the fermented tofu sauce and chilli salt sauce. For the affordable price of VND 139.000, you could also enjoy three additional drinks (milk tea, kumquat tea, and herbal tea), as well as fruit, choux cream, and ice lollies. I preferred the kumquat tea and milk tea, but the other desserts were less appealing to me. Despite having four air conditioners, the restaurant can become quite warm due to its large size, crowded conditions, and the single hot pot dish. I recommend visiting during off-peak hours for a more comfortable experience. When the restaurant is less busy, the staff can also provide more attentive service. The manager should consider providing more comprehensive staff training, allowing them to experience the restaurant’s hot pot flavours firsthand so they can offer customers more detailed and accurate recommendations. When I first visited and was unsure between Longevity and Herbal hot pot broth, the staff were unable to provide me with any guidance.

Vegetarian hotpot buffet with decent price. Many types of vegetables, mushrooms and up to 2 hotpot flavors to choose from. Good choice for group gatherings.
