SHIN Heritage - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

The coffee tastes great. I think it's a perfect place to come for a quiet rest after looking around Ben Thanh Market

We stopped by Shin Heritage in District 1, in search of more specialty roasters who serve pour over Robusta. They also serve Ca Phe Trung (egg coffee) and Ca Phe Sua Da or Nong (iced or hot). Service was attentive and I received the Robusta pour over in an ornate teacup. It was not acidic, and had a unique caffeine-tinged punch. Almost medicinal but pleasant. Not chocolate or earthy, like the more common medium-roasted Arabica. I’m still trying to figure out how to describe it. The hybrid indoor and outdoor space felt like it could host a good number of people on the patio and a few inside at the counter. They have quite a few different coffee types and gift sets for sale. It’s a decent cafe that is worth stopping by.

Good cafe to try multiple coffee origins in vietnam, however the staffs can further improve in communications to explain how the beans work, and price tags can be placed at the products to save time - not needed to ask each and every product

I absolutely love this café! SHIN Heritage is a must-stop spot when you’re in Saigon. The staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely sweet. Their drink menu is exciting, authentic, and wonderfully diverse — and the coffee itself is rich, memorable, and truly delicious. The Best Coffee in Saigon. Close to the markets so you can do some shopping and then relax with some peace & quiet and have a coffee. Try the iced coffee with condensed milk. It’s amazing and will definitely get you going for the day. The staff are lovely and it’s nice to sit at the coffee bar and watch the care that goes into making your coffee. ☕️ 😁.
