Interesting Speakeasy bar. Starting with an “are we even at the right place?” entrance, then straight into an “omakase” style cocktail experience that keeps things deliberately unpredictable. Very London speakeasy energy. Staff were English speaking and smooth with service, which made the whole experience easy and welcoming. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re paying for the concept as much as the cocktails. Frank Sinatra and Ben E. King on loop, dim lights, and drinks that felt like a little surprise each round—hard to complain! Expensive? Yes. Worth it for the experience? Also yes.

Cool spot. Must try. We did end up in the smokers lounge so as non smokers its was a little unpleasant but we still loved the atmosphere. The drinks were excellent and wait staff were great. We were advised about the smokers lounge and decided to give it a go anyway so there are other options if you can’t handle it. Would go back.
Randomly stopped by and it turned out to be a pretty cool bar! Loved the little trick to open the door. Not many customers on Sat night tho. I ordered a Grasshopper and it was good. Cozy space overall but quite small and not many options to sit. I’d give it 7/10. Might come back another time
During my recent trip to Ho Chi Minh, my best friend and I went out for cocktails almost every night, and one bar in particular really stood out! It was this hidden telephone bar! When we arrived, I actually forgot how to enter because it was so quiet outside and didn’t even look like there was a door 😅 Maygani naka sulod rami hahaha ky pariha mi dali mo-give up but luckily, we figured it out! Once inside, the ambiance was absolutely beautiful: dim lighting, a live pianist, and a cozy bar setup. Gors nagyud mi. What amazed us the most? No menu at all! You can either describe any cocktail you want, or just tell the bartender how you feel and they’ll craft something custom for you on the spot. The creativity and care they put into the drinks was next level. Definitely one of the best cocktails we had in Ho Chi Minh! If you're looking for a unique, intimate spot to cap off your night. Telephone Bar, 41 Nguyễn Văn Tráng Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam is highly recommended! The bartenders here are highly-skilled, and it shows in their exceptional drinks. There isn't a menu; instead, you describe your preferences, and the bartenders craft a personalised cocktail for you. Of course, you may order the classic cocktails if you're less adventurous. Hint: My friend claims this places serves the best espresso martini in the world (pictured). I quite liked the seating area upstairs, which is more cozy and intimate with comfortable sofas.
