I was introduced to this sushi spot by my younger cousin and her bf. It’s just a quaint little restaurant that feels pretty authentic, when it comes to Japanese style cuisine. The atmosphere and ambience of the table we were given was fantastic. Now for the service. This part was on the disappointing side. While I completely understand that not everyone is meant to wait tables, unfortunately our waitress was not trained all too well. She pretty much missed several of our orders so not all of it was delivered consistently. Not to mention the lack of clarity between us and the employees was jarring. We had to confirm with them about our order, they had to confirm with the kitchen workers, then back to us. It was pretty hectic. Next is the food. The sashimi and sushi were incredible. I can’t say the same for the Unagi and tempura though. The Unagi was very underwhelming, flavor was bland, nothing like actual unagi. The last disappointment was the Takoyaki. Too much batter and it wasn’t crispy at all. Mushy and it didn’t have much octopus. Still, all in all a nice experience to enjoy with family.

The dishes are amazing. Salmon is fresh. The after taste is wonderful especially, with that price. We eat so much that we can’t breathe. One minus point is the marinated eel, a bit fishy. Everything else is wonderful. Ah, if they could boost the staff service, it’d be great. The dishes come out a bit slower than places we often go. We’ll definitely come back and mark this as our fav! A team full of young and enthusiastic staff. Xoxo
