Mayonaka Sushi - Japanese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

finally got to try mayonaka sushi and omg… i get the hype now 😭🍣 everything was SO good, from the fresh stuff to the cooked dishes. not a single miss on the table. my absolute fave was the egg salad with that sweet dressing it was so good i literally had to order another one 💀 and can we talk about the staff??? genuinely 11/10. super attentive, friendly, and thoughtful the whole time. honestly one of the biggest reasons i’d come back. good food is one thing, but great service just hits different, the atmosphere is nice and private, perfect for catching up or a chill date night. music was alright, nothing crazy, but the hospitality more than made up for it. as for the sushi… yeah, no debate needed. absolutely devoured. ate that up and left no crumbs 😭✋ overall? worth every penny. my wallet might be crying but i’d do it again.

One of the nicest sushi experiences we had in Ho Chi Minh City. This is my fifth time here and it has been consistently great every time, so I finally wanted to leave a review. The atmosphere was lovely and all of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The menu also has some nice non-seafood and vegetarian-friendly options, which we really appreciated. Everything we tried was delicious and the mochi is one of my favorites. Definitely a place we would love to visit again and highly recommend.

The menu here is as big as their passion to make your experience phenomenal. I was blown away away with the staff, food, and overall esthetic of the place. They treat everyone like royalty and the sushi chefs are top tier. Loved watching them make master pieces while I sat at the bar. Highly recommend!! 10/10 Don't miss their matcha ice cream

I was really surprised when I stepped inside, you wouldn't expect such a cozy, peaceful sanctuary right in the middle of a busy street near Bui Vien. It has a great vibe and would be a perfect spot for a dinner date. I came here with a group of friends for a birthday party, and the service was honestly 10/10. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. We had a private room which made the celebration feel really warm and intimate. The food didn't disappoint either, the sashimi was super fresh and everything we ordered was delicious. If you're looking for quality sushi and a great atmosphere in HCMC, I highly recommend this spot!

As a Japanese cuisine super lovers I have the right to give them a 10 star rate! It combines traditional normal Japanese food plus some inventional Vietnamese local food to become a special Japanese dish. Price is reasonable compared to local. Very delicious. 5 star food plus 5 star service. Excellent!
