Good Crêpes 😋

Bánh crêpes Pháp Madame LÊ - Bakery in Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Madame Lê's crêpe cart operates out of 22 Nguyễn Văn Hưởng from late afternoon into the night, drawing a devoted crowd to what looks, at first glance, like an unlikely spot for exceptional French crêpes. The stand is spotless, run by the proprietor herself with obvious care, and the results have regulars insisting the crêpes here outperform versions eaten in France — softer, more pliable, and eaten hot rather than the drier French standard.
Portions lean toward generosity, with fillings that don't hold back. The menu spans both sweet and savory, giving diners real choice rather than a token alternative. On the savory side, the bacon-apple crêpe earns the most enthusiastic reactions — smoky pork and sweet-tart fruit working together in a combination that reads as unusual but lands immediately. The jambon crêpe holds its own alongside it. Sweet orders come with a wide selection of jams and spreads; the variety makes choosing genuinely difficult.
The cart draws a mix of couples, neighborhood regulars, and expats who already know to seek it out. Madame Lê handles each order personally, advises on flavor combinations, and brings the kind of attentive approach that turns a street snack into something worth returning for. Deliveries are available for those who can't make it in person.
Evening hours only — 4:30 PM onward daily — make this strictly a dinner or late-snack destination. Nguyễn Văn Hưởng has sit-down restaurant options at every turn, but the cart's format and quality occupy a distinct niche. In a neighborhood that tilts heavily toward conventional dining rooms, a street crêpe stand run with this level of personal attention and consistent execution stands noticeably apart.
Reviews
Wonderful place, great owner and tasty crêpes.
The crepes are excellent, the welcome is superb! A very good value for money, I highly recommend. Less than 150k for two crepes
Nice crêpes stand run by a lovely lady Madame Lê that really puts her heart into it. Many choices and flavours. Can also have deliveries. Good one and location is great.
