Remember the name and the day you have discovered it, its going to become a legend... history is made by tiny daily progress... the bread, the braid, the bite... just beat it !

Bread Beats is hands down the best French bakery in HCMC for me. It is tucked inside Vietpadel Country Club, which makes it dangerously convenient if you happen to play padel there. 😄 The bakery has such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It is bright and spacious, with warm wooden tables, comfortable seating, beautiful woven pendant lights, and big windows looking out onto the padel courts. It feels casual and welcoming, and it is a great place to sit down with a coffee and a pastry after playing, or even just come by for the bakery itself. The owner and baker is French, and you can really taste the difference. All the ingredients are imported from France, including the French flour and butter, and the quality really comes through. The croissants are absolutely fantastic. The crust is beautifully golden and gives you that satisfying crunch when you bite into it, followed by delicate, buttery layers inside. That rich buttery flavor is exactly what you want from a proper French croissant. It is crisp on the outside, light and flaky through the layers, and wonderfully tender inside. The sourdough bread is excellent too, with a beautiful crust and great texture inside. The pain au chocolat is another favorite. Everything I have tried here has been excellent. What I really appreciate about Bread Beats is that it feels like a genuine artisanal French bakery. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into the baking. Having a French baker using French flour, French butter and other ingredients imported from France really makes a difference. If you love proper French bread and pastries, Bread Beats is absolutely worth seeking out. And if you already play at Vietpadel, consider yourself warned: walking past those croissants after a session takes considerably more willpower than I usually have 🥐☕️

Bread Beats is a great little spot sharing a space with a padel club I play at. The croissants are really good, and I usually grab some fresh bread after a match. Haven’t tried the coffee yet, but it looks legit. The staff is always friendly and welcoming too. Definitely looking forward to trying more of what they have.

BB has settled in Vietpadell where they sell their nurtured bakes baked with passion using carefully selected flours and butter from France and pouring their love in their dough ! I love Croissant and am very demanding when it comes ro the number of layers of puff pastry interlaced with butter and I find those perfect. I am also a fan of the baguette, the very same one I would buy going around the corner when I am in France… and some many others to taste and try ! In Vietpadell, there is also this coffee space with the red wxpresso machine for the traditional cafe croissant ! And others latte or capucchino. The place is a balm even when you do not play padell. Go and test for yourself !
