An absolute gem! I can't believe there aren't more people trying this place. Even if you are not vegetarian, the food here is so good you won't even notice! I came in around 5:00 PM on a Saturday and there were only one two other customers. The restaurant is small and cozy. Tables and seats are comfortable and gives the restaurant a homey feeling. I ordered the Golden Tofu and the Bun Rieu. The Golden Tofu was good! The outside was perfectly fried while the inside was so silky! It came with a dipping sauce that paired with the tofu nicely. 4.5/5 for me. The Bun Rieu, now that was absolutely amazing. Who would have thought not using real crabs for a dish that is literally crab based could be pulled off. I really enjoyed this bowl in all ways. First off, the bowl was huge by Vietnamese standards. This was sized for Americans for sure. All the ingredients inside from the noodles to the imitation crab to the plate of fresh and clean veggies was perfect! I highly recommend everyone try Chai Nha Xanh even if you have to take a 30 minute taxi ride to get here!
