Dim Tu Tac COBI TOWER 2 - Cantonese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Great food 👍🏻Lovely Dim Sum and friendly staff, especially Oliver who guide us through the food menu and took care of us. (⬆️ I wrote that a year ago, Below ⬇️ is an update) ============================== Had lunch again at "Dim Tu Tac" on Friday (01May26), It's a place I consistently visit whenever I'm in Ho Chi Minh City, and I consider it one of the best Chinese restaurants in Vietnam. The reason why I am writing an update is because the monthly special, "Chân Giò Da Giòn" (Crispy Pork/脆皮豬手) was particularly impressive. The pork had an excellent crispy skin while remaining tender and flavorful. This dish stands out and, in my opinion, warrants inclusion on the main menu rather than being a limited-time special. Once again service was handled by Oliver and Rosa, both of whom were attentive and efficient. Their ability to speak Cantonese was a welcome touch, adding to the comfortable dining experience. They managed our table effectively throughout the meal.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! The staff here treats us like we are at home, very professional yet cozy and welcoming. The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, if you are craving Chinese cuisine, this is the best place in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). I have never been to other locations of Dim Tu Tac, but this one, I’ve been dining in here for nearly a decade.

Incident on 07/12/2025, Sunday 11am at Dim Tu Tac Cobi Tower 2. I have visited many Dim Tu Tac outlets over the years, but this branch gave me the worst service I’ve ever experienced. While ordering food halfway , the supervisor, Joey — wearing a RED SHIRT with a black coat (short height lady with long hair) — pushed my arm impatiently asking me to continue ordering when my family was talking to me wanting to add more dishes. Her behavior was shocking and unprofessional. When I asked the assistant manager in a blue shirt for her name, both blue managers were reluctant to provide it at first , and one even suggested I shouldn’t write a bad review.So i wasn't sure is Joey her real name. Service was poor throughout: staffs ignored my calls, my teapot stayed empty for 15 minutes, and the shocking thing is the staffs only gave one tiny sate chili sauce for six adults asking to share among ourselves. When I raised the sate chilli issue to the blue shirt manager , Joey walk to my table denying all responsibility and shouted at me, without apologizing . Almost all staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, making the atmosphere tense and unpleasant. Even during billing, the cashier didn’t return the receipt properly, seemingly fearing I might take it to the company for complaints. I had to take a photo myself. I hope Dim Tu Tac management addresses this, as customers deserve attention, professionalism, and respect. Although i doubt any actions will be taken even after i wrote this review, but i do hope other customers read my review and decide for themselves. This will be my last visit.

We were invited by friends from Ho Chi Minh City. This restaurant, located inside a business tower, serves absolutely delicious dim sum dishes. We would like to congratulate the waitress, who was always smiling and especially professional. I highly recommend this restaurant, which offers excellent value for money.

With a table reserved in advance, we were seated right away. Food was amazing! Waiting time in between each food serving takes a little while but bearable. We dined in for a team lunch and to celebrate a colleague’s birthday and we were served lemonade shots for free! I appreciate the gesture:)
