L'Usine Phu My Hung - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City

The food here is decent. I personally like the squid ink and egg benedict here. Matcha strawberry is good. The staff are nice and quick to serve. Good place to work, date or dine in for a relaxing brunch.

The D7 branch of L’Usine is located inside Crescent Mall. The cafe is big and spacious, very pleasant and comfortable to be in, with lovely decor. The menu is the same as at their other branches and includes all-day breakfast, a set lunch menu, and a variety of dishes to suit different preferences. I chose the mushroom bruschetta and the teriyaki seabass rice bowl from the lunch menu (great value at 199K), as did one of my dining partners. I mention that because the two portions of bruschetta that arrived at the table were noticeably different in size (smaller one in the photo) — something I’ve seen before at this cafe. That being said, the flavours were good and the ingredients were fresh, including in the rice bowl. The seabass was tender and not overpowered by the teriyaki. We also shared a chocolate hazelnut cake, which was delicious. Service was standard, though we were only informed there were no split bills as we were about to pay. Bottom line: It’s a solid option if you’re already at Crescent Mall, but a little more attention to detail in the kitchen and clearer communication from the staff, would bring it up a notch.

Absolutely love this! The pastries are always fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. The staff are so kind and welcoming — it feels like a little treat every time I stop by.

Delicious continental cuisine, simple but comfortable seating setup, staff is nice, prices are slightly on a higher side but its alright for the quality and taste of the food they serve.. this outlet is conveniently located in GF of Crescent Mall in D7 Saigon.

The food at Lusine is pretty reliable. I know I will have a good meal here and I will expect to pay a premium for the relaxing atmosphere (over 600k for the 4 items photographed). However, what surprised me today was the lack of service. The bill automatically charges 5% service, but i received less service than what an average eatery offers. The servers were pleasant enough, but we had to wave down our server to take our order. My salad came almost right away, but my companion waited for too long for her salmon toast. We had to stand up and walk over to find a server to bring us a bill. I really felt like the 5% service was unwarranted.
