HARU RESTAURANT - Fusion restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Legendary tonkatsu prolly the best I ever had in Saigon (tks to the sauce). We came for early lunch so almost no one there but the staff was very helpful and sweet. Very generous with refilling. Definitely will revisit!

The store was clean and the staff tried to be helpful but it was taking really long for the menu and food to come. They seemed to be short of staff or busy for something, I noticed everyone around me was waiting 10 minutes for the menu and another 10 for the staff to come out to take the order and another 20-30 minutes for the food. The soybean noodles didn’t fit my taste and had thicker noodles than I’m used to. but overall it was fresh and standard, the only issue I had was with the amount of side dishes, only three (free refills) but it was disappointing for the price of 172.000vnd (including tax). personally there are better spots around with cheaper price and more diverse side dishes.

We came here for lunch and had the spicy pork cutlet with rice and Katsudon (which also comes with rice, obviously. You just can’t see it in the photo). Both were very good, served with a small portion of kimchi, pickles and a light soup. Nicely cooked, well presented and extremely filling. The katsudon is a thicker cut of meat than the cutlet. While the cutlet was covered in a sweet/savoury sauce the panko was still crunchy when it came out. Very good. Would happily come again

With 2 people you can order 1 dish 220k. It is really big and yummy. The restaurant was owned by a Korean people.

This place exceeded my expectations. The kimchi udon was excellent and I was impressed by the quality of the sushi roll. The food was delicious and the service was welcoming. Looking forward to trying their other dishes.
