Randomly stopped by this place out of curiosity, and we’re really glad we did. Definitely worth a try! We ordered five different dishes and wine pairings , and honestly, they were all quite different but really good. It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys discovering new places and trying something a little different. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the team is really friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I’d recommend trying!

This is my second time at this restaurant, but this is my first time sitting at the bar to see the process of making the dessert and able to talk with the chef himself. The restaurant has a chill and cozy vibe, giving me a relaxed feeling just by sitting in it. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Especially the Chef, now that this time, I get to see the process of making each of the dessert - with every care and detail on it. The chef and staff also explained to me how to enjoy each of the dessert to get the intended experience - which I love because of how intricate and beautiful the dessert, I didn't want to ruin by sink the spoon in it :v The dessert are THE STAR here. As I mentioned, they are beautiful, full of detail and made with care. The price is also really reasonable comparing to how they look. The restaurant also provides wine pairing that goes well with each dessert. Highly recommend to get the wine pairing with the dessert to get the full experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. You can enjoy this place many ways: solo, with a date, or sharing different dessert between a group of friends. I walked in expecting a bank-breaking experience, but in return, I got a warm, cozy, fuzzy feeling, delicious dessert and a reasonable hit to my balance :v Will be a returning customer in the future and introduce to my friend and family.

I came across this place by chance, tucked away in a quiet little alley, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise. My first impression was that it felt like a small European pastry shop, and later I found out that the owner is European, which made perfect sense. The couple running the place are incredibly sweet and gentle, and the whole atmosphere reflects that same calm, warm energy. As much as I loved the peaceful atmosphere, the desserts were the real highlight. Everything was served with so much care, from the presentation to the smallest details. You can really feel that the pastry chef thoughtfully chooses every element, even down to the flowers used on each plate. The kumquat dessert was especially impressive. The sharp citrus flavor hits first in the best way, then the smooth, soft texture and gentle sweetness bring the whole dish to a beautiful finish. The lavender dessert was also beautifully balanced, with the jelly cutting through the sweetness of the ice cream perfectly. Honestly, I was amazed. Every dish was beautiful, thoughtful, and delicious. The place is charming, quiet, and clearly made with a lot of heart. I’ll definitely be recommending it to more people.

In just 10 days, we found ourselves coming back three times, which probably says everything. We ended up trying the entire menu, including Chef Niklas’s newest creation, and every visit reminded us that this place is about so much more than dessert. It’s an experience. Every plate feels thoughtful, playful, beautifully balanced, and made with genuine care. Some of my personal favorites were the Lavender, Chestnut, Calamansi, and Carrot. The new dessert with lychee and kaffir lime ice cream was simply outstanding-fresh, elegant, and unforgettable. What made the experience even more special was meeting Chef Niklas and his wife, Kelly. They’re incredibly talented, humble, warm, and genuinely lovely people. Their passion for what they do is reflected not only in the desserts but also in the atmosphere they’ve created. Considering the level of craftsmanship, creativity, and fine-dining quality, I honestly think the pricing is remarkably reasonable. We’ll definitely be back- not only for our favorites, but also to discover whatever surprises come next. Highly recommended.

We were extremely satisfied with our visit to hemma dessert bar. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and welcoming; we particularly enjoyed sitting at the kitchen counter, which gave us the chance to chat with them and watch the artistry that goes into every dish. The menu is a masterclass in creativity and balance. We sampled several items, including the Calamansi, Beetroot, and Chestnut, all of which were exceptional. However, the Mushroom dish was the absolute star of the show. It offered a truly surprising flavor combination that we never expected—if you only have the chance to try one thing, make it this one! It is a bold, inventive plate that perfectly captures why this place is so special. To elevate the experience even further, the wine pairings were spot on. The Riesling Spätlese, Tokaji, Alsace Cuvée, and Tawny Port were expertly selected and provided a very good match to the complex flavors of the food. If you are looking for a unique, high-quality dining experience where the service is as delightful as the food, I cannot recommend hemma dessert bar enough. It is a true standout, and should we visit HCMC again, we will definetly return!
