ICHIHANA OMAKASE SUSHI BUFFET - Japanese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Very nice and rich buffet and very nice presentation of the buffet. Quick responses by waitresses and the chef even visited us at the end. Very polite and date night atmosphere!

We had the 800k omakase set and loved every dish. The upstairs area is very clean and nice. The presentation of the meals is extremely appetizing, each dish looked super good. The food quality was superb, the fish was very high quality and very fresh. The cheese oyster and crab were also delicious. There was a kumquat drink that I had 3 glasses - it had a hint of honey which made it so refreshing. The owner spent time in California and Japan, and his experience shows! We'd just came from our Japan trip and the quality was just as good. Would highly recommend for the price!

We got the cheapest buffet option, which was a lot - we couldn't even go through half the things on the menu. For 599k it was a lot! But food quality and taste was below average, so I probably will not return. Service is available but not enthusiastic or warm. The way in was a mess with ingredients strewn all over the place, and decor is standard to cheaper Asian restaurants/ a bit tacky.

Top tier quality sushi, talented and passionate chef, gorgeous restaurant and attentive staff. A cool hybrid of high quality omakase and regular sushi buffet. Great price for the quality of fish! Best Unagi I’ve had, delicious Hamachi, and tasty squid. A real fun experience and easy first time omakase experience for anyone wanting to try

My uncle was referred this place by a trusted friend, and so we went! The owner, Van, is very passionate about his craft. We learned a lot, drank a lot, and ate a lot! I was a bit skeptical about eating sushi in Vietnam, but considering its nearness to Japan, all of the fish was actually so incredibly fresh and delicious. You get tons of premium cuts for a great price. We had a great time and would highly recommend to everyone!
