Went to Uraetei Phổ Đình for lunch and the setup is seriously impressive. You pull into this massive brick courtyard that was totally packed with scooters, so I was bracing for it to be super loud inside, but the noise level was actually totally fine. The whole building has this nice dark wood architecture with vines hanging down from the balcony. They even have a really pretty Japanese style garden tucked away with white pebbles and a bright red bridge. They had a little drink dispenser with paper cups right by the sliding wooden doors to sip on while waiting. Once we sat down we ordered a ton of food and our table was completely covered. The plate of raw marinated beef was huge and the meat had a great fat ratio, getting a nice char on the tabletop grill while staying super tender. It had a savory, slightly sweet marinade that stuck to the meat perfectly. We loaded up the big fresh perilla and lettuce leaves with the hot beef, some shredded scallions, and white rice. The little side dishes were great too, especially the sweet glazed potatoes, kimchi, and the massive bowl of salted edamame. We just kept grilling and drinking iced tea until we could barely breathe. The dining room was pretty full and you could see a lot of people eating through the bamboo window blinds from outside, but the waitstaff kept everything moving quickly. I am rolling out of here so full right now.

Nice location and especially comfortable downstairs. Friendly end efficient service. Tasty and high quality natural ingredients. We also enjoyed the yogurts for dessert. 1.2 million for a big meal for 2 pax = good value for money.

Ramen and beef udon are delicious but some other dishes are just acceptable (eg. pancake bánh xèo not as good as other restos). Rooms are private but a bit tiny and noisy. Services are normally quick. Price is acceptable. Parking for car is limited.

Expected more from a bbq this price range Food: meat was good quality, fresh veggies. But you have to pay extra for side dish (e.g., mediocre kimchi, garlic 🙄) Service: We had to grill the food ourselves. Service was very slow. Staff is poorly coordinated and was not attentive to our tables. Atmosphere: kinda nice but the table was a bit small.
