Saigon native here. The eatery on 386 Lê Văn Sỹ Street is greatly a pleasant place to eat. It is to the opposite of Ramana Hotel, making it a convenient place for foreign visitors. In terms of environment, the place has great air circulation and a nicely decorated interior. The hygiene is good. They have all the chopsticks and spoons covered in paper to prevent dust. We ordered a combo for 2, which consisted of 2 rice servings with chicken and "gỏi" (chicken salad). They also brought us a can to put chicken bones in there for convenience. The dishes have great flavor and maintains the local aspect. The salt-lemon-whatever thing is also tasty and elevates the meat. I also had seaweed broth which also had pork. Very delicious, would recommend. The seaweed was very tender. It costed us 139,000 VND in total.

I stopped in for early supper and was very impressed with the chicken. I got com gà xé and it was very juicy and flavorful meat. The rice and pickles were also excellent. The staff provided great service and were fast and friendly. There’s room for motorbike parking in front.

Terrible. We ordered 2 com ga xe’s and there was barely any chicken. The food tasted okay at best, but at the end of our meal the waiter tried to pressure us into giving two 5 star reviews, which simply did not sit right with me. It’s so unethical because I decided to try this place due to the good reviews, and now I deeply regret wasting my stomach space. There are WAY better eateries in HCM. Don’t waste your time.

quite generous with rice, if u want more chicken then there is an option with more chicken, lots of locals eating here, seaweed soup also tastes great
