Best value for money sushi in my opinion! Always quick to grab a table, very fresh sashimi and friendly staff. I always come back here when I am in HCMC.

Sushi To - Sushi restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
Sushi To has built a loyal following on one simple formula: generous cuts of fresh fish at prices that make regulars lose count of how many visits they have clocked. Perched on Song Hành in An Phú, the multi-floor space runs a tight operation — plates arrive within 20 minutes of ordering, the dining room stays clean, and counter seating means solo diners can walk in without a second thought.
The salmon and tuna are the draw. Reviews consistently describe fat, soft, juicy cuts — not the thin, reluctant slices common at comparable price points. Sashimi portions are substantial, and the kitchen moves quickly enough that a table of eight can be seated, fed, and satisfied without the meal becoming an ordeal.
Evenings fill up fast. A 20-minute wait for larger groups is not unusual on busy nights, and the upper floors can grow warm when air conditioning lags behind a full house — a mild inconvenience that most regulars absorb as the cost of eating this well for this little. Service noticeably accelerates post-9:30 PM as the kitchen moves toward close.
Delivery is available, but multiple regulars flag that the experience is sharper in-house — fish holds its quality under time pressure less forgivingly than cooked food, and the full version of what this kitchen does shows best at the table.
Among sushi options in Thao Dien and the broader An Phú corridor, Sushi To occupies a specific niche: not the most refined, not the most inventive, but consistently fresh, fast, and priced in a way that has made it a quiet default for both longtime expats and locals who simply stopped looking elsewhere.
Reviews
Fat juicy cuts 👌 sashimi heaven truly Staff were very attentive and price reasonable.
This is probably the cheapest sushi sashimi restaurant I've ever been to, and I'm most satisfied with almost everything. Will come back again
Visited around 9:30PM, so the service felt a bit rushed—understandable as it was close to closing time. The food was decent and reasonably priced. A casual spot for sushi if you’re not expecting anything fancy.
As an American living here 5 years I was delighted to find a good sushi place and had high expectations after seeing your reviews. We have now frequented your place for a couple years. However on the very first experience it was a less than favorable one. Being from the states I asked for a Philly roll which is basically salmon avocado and cream cheese actually the real recipe calls for smoked salmon and if you haven't tried it you should it's one of the most popular selling rules in the states I've been quite surprised that I've only found it in one place in 5 years in Vietnam. Some sushi places do not have cream cheese so they cannot make it for me I know you have cream cheese because cream cheese comes on your eel roll. It's a simple rule to make approximately 33% salmon 33% cream cheese to 33% avocado. The staff refused to do it. This would be okay again if you just didn't have the ingredients the fact that you do have the ingredients and refused to make it even when I agree to pay an extra fee made it the unfavorable experience. I think you're busy enough now and you need to raise your level of service. While writing this review in the air conditioning space of the third floor sitting just under the AC a waiter had there back to us just finishing at the table across from us my sister called him twice, it was clear he was ignoring us. I own restraints and business in multiple countries. There's room for improvement. You should remember busy can slow as fast as it grew, even fast actually. When you agree to make my roll the way I want, being that you have all the Ingredients, I'll change this to a 5 star. Service was lowered to 1 star for employee who ignored my sister.
