Nice cafe at the corner ajourning a park. Medium size coffee is huge, hot and delicious.
U Café - Cafe in Ho Chi Minh City
About This Place
U Café occupies a corner position along Điện Biên Phủ inside the Vinhomes Tân Cảng complex in Binh Thanh, close enough to Landmark 81 to draw overflow foot traffic from the tower cluster but operating at its own unhurried pace. The interior runs modern without being sterile — comfortable couches anchor one side, smaller tables fill the rest, and background music keeps noise low enough for laptop work. Restrooms are consistently clean, and staff have been known to lend extension cables to regulars setting up for a long session.
The drinks program centers on cold coffee. The coconut cold brew is the standout order: sweet without tipping into dessert territory, with enough coffee presence to satisfy drinkers who would normally avoid coconut-flavored builds. The yuzu cold brew, made with Arabica beans, has drawn both praise and one pointed critique — the balance between yuzu jam and cold brew base matters, and results have varied. The bac xiu macchiato has a devoted following despite a modest presentation. Hot café sữa rounds out the traditional options for those who prefer the Vietnamese standard.
Croissants here have been noted as among the better versions available in Ho Chi Minh City — specific enough praise, from multiple visitors, to be worth taking seriously in a city where the pastry is everywhere but rarely handled with precision.
Pricing lands in the mid-range for the Vinhomes corridor, around 145,000 VND per drink, which tracks with the location's cost of living. There is no view of the river or the tower despite the proximity — the corner does face a small park, which softens the atmosphere without making it a destination in itself. Service receives mixed marks: attentive on good days, disengaged on quieter ones. The café works best as a reliable neighborhood anchor rather than a destination worth crossing districts for.

Great place to enjoy a really good coffee ! I will come back for sure
It's cafe right next to the Landmark81. The cafe itself was so comfortable with nice decore. And I had Yuzu Cold brew Coffe, and was really nice with Arabica bean. I think it's a bit expensive as cafe, but the normal as the location. It's located really expensive place. There is no view though... Lol.Anyway it's good cafe, I admit.
Walked around our area for 10min and finally found a cafe that serves what we would like. My iced coconut matcha is perfect 👌. My wife got the hot cafe sua . I'm just amazed at how modern Saigon is. It's been 25 years since I've been back. 145,000 Dong is about $8 CAD.
I ordered yuzu cold brew and it turned out just sugar with water. A lot of sugar!! No coffee at all even just a smell. So disappointed! The staff explained it was sweet because of yuzu jam. So why it’s too sweet? If you don’t know how to make cold brew and balance between jam and coffee you should not open a cafe. The place was a bit dirty. Not crowded at all but the staff didn’t take a good care of the space. Tables were left unclean until you have to ask them to clean it. Another bad thing, although you told them you would not take away, they still give you single use plastic cup instead of a glass. So terrible service for a 60k coffee! Chọn yuzu cold brew mà không tin nổi nó chỉ là nước đường chứ không phải cold brew cũng không có gì là yuzu. Kinh dị! 60k một ly mà không uống được tí nào vì quá ngọt. Không bao giờ quay lại.
